Karen G. Richmond

I am a Little Compton artist specializing in painting, collage and jewelry. After a career in graphic design, I began to use my artistic background more expressively creating on canvas and wood. I enjoy interpreting the design, color, and form of the world around us into my art. Being an outdoor enthusiast, I use nature as a theme presenting different perspectives to the viewer. I also create abstracts that often incorporate various mediums.

(Awards: Gallery 297, honorable mention, LCCC Art Show, honorable mention 2005 and 2018, State of RI Citation 2003 volunteer award, University of Vermont: Fine Art and Environmental Studies)
